A warm welcome to all at the 2011 Women’s Festival!
2011 is a very special year. On 8th March we will mark the 100th International Women's Festival!!
OXFAM, which does sterling work to overcome poverty and suffering, is requesting us to mark this milestone by raising money for women across the world. For ideas please visit www.oxfam.org.uk/celebration
The team has been tremendously busy again and we are delighted to continue to offer old favourites in the entertainment, charity and information stalls.
As ever, we have some wonderful prizes donated by generous sponsors.
Our main prize for the free prize draw is fabulous; a completely free membership for 6 months given by Coventry Sports Centre. It includes full use of the gym, swim, all group exercise classes, sauna, steam and also the toning tables. The membership can be used at all sites; the Ricoh arena, Foleshill Leisure Centre or the new Moathouse Leisure Centre in Bell Green.
Whichever activity you most enjoy,we are looking forward to coming together and celebrating our collaborative and individual strengths, our hope and resolve for the future and our common purpose in rejoicing in women’s progress.
